They told participants and worshippers during commemoration of the 50th day of information exchange in the church in Dar es salaam yesterday.
Rev. Joseph Matumaini from St. Joseph Roman Catholic church said in most cases God communicates with his people through leaders and no matter the challenges the message from God needs to be fulfilled.
“He works through leaders and tells them to pass the information to His people and followers in general,” the cleric said.
He said despite the challenges involving moving to Dodoma, he was sure they would be surmounted.
"We need to be creative in whatever job we do. The visions that Gods gives us and directs us to do should not be ignored,” he said.
He said President Magufuli was the second after founder of the nation to come up with the vision to shift to Dodoma, saying that God’s vision needed to be respected and there shouldn’t be hesitation in shifting.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, culture and Sports, Gabriel Elisante said time was very important in everything we take part and so it shouldn’t be wasted as it has value.
The Ps urged journalists to communicate authentically their messages to the public saying they need to avoid writing hate related information.
He also advised peers to ensure they use well the social media saying proper communication meant good collaboration with others.
At the commemoration, the Tanzania Episcope Council (TEC) presented the message from Pope Francis XVI reading that communication had energy to construct bridges, gather people and involve everyone in any community.
According to the Pope, words can construct bridges between individuals, families and people's groups, saying this was very possible in this era of a globalised world
"Our words and deeds must help us all to avoid the judgment and vengeance being experienced in several countries where hatred emotions are encouraged" read part of Pope's message.
The manner of communication between people should focus on removing ideas which separate sinners from those with rights. The message added:
"We can and we must judge sinning situation such as cruelty, corruption and discrimination. However, we should not judge people as it is only God who has the ability to know people’s thoughts."
